Lesson Plans and Other Resources

We are pleased to offer the following educational resources, including lesson plans, videos, photos and toolkits to help teachers, mentors, faith leaders, and other educators provide constructive lessons on the events of 9/11, engage students in this important topic, and inspire them to participate in the 9/11 Day of Service and Remembrance. These age-appropriate materials were carefully developed in partnership with Scholastic, members of the 9/11 community and various national service organizations. We suggest you begin by reviewing the Educator’s Guide and the Instructions for Parents provided below. (Also check out Scholastic’s page for other 9/11 related tools and information.)

Please be sure to post on this site what you and your students decide to do as your 9/11 Tribute, uploading any photos or videos if possible. Also invite your students to explore our Facebook page at Facebook.com/911day.
